Mushroom Egg Omelette

Mushrooms have been celebrated as a source of powerful nutrients and Eggs are considered to be one of the best sources of protein. Here is a tasty combo of Mushrooms and Eggs that make a nutrious meal.

 

Ingredients
Eggs - 2 nos
Mushrooms - as required
Onion - 1 (medium size)
Vegetable oil – 2 tsp.
Pepper powder - to taste
Salt - to taste
Coriander - to garnish

Method

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl, add pepper powder and salt. Whisk well.
  • Heat a Non-stick or iron cast tava add a tsp. of oil, Sauté finely chopped onions and then add mushrooms.
  • Once the mushrooms are sautéed well add the required amount of salt.
  • Transfer the mixture to the whisked eggs.
  • Heat the same pan again, add a tsp. of oil and pour the egg & mushroom mixture into the hot pan.
  • Flip the omelette to the other side and let it cook well.
  • Finally, garnish the tasty mushroom omlette with coriander leaves & serve hot!
